What is a infrared heat?
Whether you know it or not, your experience with infrared heat is the warmth you feel from the sun on a chilly day. The air around you is not warming your body, but the rays from the sun provide heat that penetrates to the core of your body.
How is an infrared sauna different from a traditional sauna?
Infrared heat waves penetrate to the core of your body and heat it from the inside out. In a traditional sauna, the air around you is heated, and your body is heated from the outside in. Therefore, the air surrounding you in an infrared sauna is generally much more tolerable and comfortable than the excessive heat in a traditional sauna.
What should I wear?
Our most asked question by far! Wear exactly whatever feels comfortable to you - loose clothing or a bathing suit, if you prefer. Most people simply use the towels provided, but whatever makes you comfortable is best.
What are the benefits of an infrared sauna?
An infrared sauna provides anywhere from a calm, warm place to relax and rejuvenate to an extensive list of medical condition reliefs. See the resources tab at the top of this page regarding further detail, study and references of the benefits of infrared.
Does your sauna use near or far infrared wavelengths?
Our Clearlight© sauna provides all wavelengths of infrared - near, mid and far. This provides you with all the particular benefits that each wavelength can provide your body.
How do I need to prepare for my infrared sauna session?
Large clean towels will be provided for you at the sauna. For your safety, please be sure to hydrate yourself well before the session and directly after the session. Further to note: Some studies show increased effectiveness of an infrared sauna when one is thoroughly hydrating before and after his/her session. Exercising before a session can also increase effectiveness, studies show. Just be sure to drink plenty of water and electrolytes if needed.
Are infrared saunas safe?
Clearlight© is the only infrared sauna company that takes such great care in regards to EMF & ELF emissions - providing levels that are 3-5 times below the threshold of concern. These are the emissions that traditionally have been of concern in other saunas and tanning beds. Further to note regarding tanning beds: While Clearlight© infrared saunas use different wavelengths of heat (infrared verses damaging ultraviolet waves), the sauna certainly gives the warm, relaxing, and energizing effects of a tanning bed - or better. How are you handling COVID-19 concerns? The sauna and all surfaces of the sauna room will be wiped down and sanitized in between each session. Touchless payment is available via Venmo and PayPal if desired. Further regarding health concerns: the infrared sauna is composed of cedar - which is naturally antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal.

What is the purpose of a Salt Room?
As with our infrared sauna, our main goal is to provide a rejuvenating space for our clients. The ambiance of the room with glowing salt bricks and inviting, comfortable furniture, is sure to bring you calm and rest. But, the salt room also comes with health benefits. A halogenerator grinds and pushes into the air pharmaceutical-grade salt during your session. This Salt vapor acts as a sponge to aid your respiratory system. The dry salt you breathe in is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergen, and immune-boosting. Further, the salt has the ability to help thin and clear mucus from your airways.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable and cozy for you. You will remove your shoes at the door and make yourself at home during your session!
What will the Salt Room experience include?
Besides the salt vapor, the room will include meditative music, cozy blankets, massage chairs, inspirational books, and warm salt stones (think massage stones) for your use during your session. Many people wonder what they will do when they use the salt room, but then find that having the empty space to be is what refreshes them the most.
What are the health benefits of the Salt Room?
Breathing dry salty air results in so many great benefits including improving symptoms caused by the following:

Is the Salt Room for adults only?
We absolutely welcome you and your partners and/or friends to have a local adult-only get-a-way together to enjoy the space.
But! Salt therapy is just as helpful for the kiddos as for us adults! The entire Salt Room is covered in pink Himalayan salt for the littles to dig, build and play their hearts out while you enjoy the ambiance of the room and all the benefits of the salt for yourself.

What is Aromatouch Therapy?
Aromatouch is a 45-minute light touch application of eight essential oils in a relaxing massage setting. The oils are sequenced to provide a systemic benefit that is grounding, uplifting, and supporting to immune function and body-mind balance.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable for you. You will remove your top, shoes and socks in the private Salt Room. We will have you lay facedown on the massage table throughout your session.
What oils will be used in the experience?
We will use Doterra oils of Balance, Lavendar, Melaleuca, Onguard, Aromatouch, Deep Blue, Wild Orange and Peppermint.
What qualifies and Aromatouch Therapist?
Our aromatouch therapist has a background as a certified aromatherapist and has been practicing this bodywork for 10 years. She absolutely loves working with her hands with plants, oils - and this bodywork may be her favorite expression of that.
